The formulation of the nonlinear sloshing problem and the liquid-structure interaction are incorporate into DYNAZ, the nonlinear multi-system-analysis finite element code. The developed liquid element uses selective uniform integration techniques. It also allows the use of variable nodes to accommodate wide variety of problems and to allow for appropriate mesh refinements. Several cases are then tested and compared with previous investigations.
