UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, IRVINE, CA INSTRUCTOR, TEACHING AND GRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANT. SEPTEMBER 1991 – AUGUST 1995 · Dr. Elzeiny was responsible for teaching civil engineering courses, advising students, obtaining research funding, conducting research, and publishing the results in Journals. Dr. Elzeiny was engaged in professional consulting activities in addition to his academic responsibilities. Consulting projects focused on the analysis and design of liquid storage tanks for nuclear facilities and liquefied natural gas storage tanks. · Dr. Elzeiny participated in the structural design and analysis for CALTRANS project “Retrofit, Repair and Testing of Bridge Pier Walls”. · Dr. Elzeiny handled the structural evaluation of liquefied natural gas tanks, oil storage tanks and nuclear waste tanks, both anchored and unanchored. |
